How does the reaction time test work?
Click the panel on the reaction time test. It turns red – wait. When it turns green, click as fast as you can. Five attempts are averaged.
Step by step
- Open the reaction time test and click the panel.
- Wait while it is red. After one to four seconds it turns green.
- Click, tap or press Space as quickly as you can.
- Repeat five times for your average.
Questions and fixes
It says “Too soon!”
You clicked while it was still red. That attempt doesn’t count; just try again.
My times are slower on another device
Screens, mice and busy computers add a few milliseconds. Compare scores on the same device.
