How does the click speed (CPS) test work?
Pick a time (1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds) on the CPS test and click the panel as fast as you can. Your clicks are divided by the seconds to give clicks per second.
Step by step
- Open the click speed test.
- Choose a time. Five seconds is the one people usually compare.
- Click the panel as fast as you can. The timer starts on your first click.
- Your best for each time is saved in this browser.
Questions and fixes
My score is suspiciously high
Your mouse may be double-clicking by itself. Check it with the mouse test.
My hand hurts
Take breaks. Jitter and drag clicking can strain your hand and wear out mouse switches.
