How do I test my controller for stick drift?
Connect the controller, open the controller tester and press any button so the browser can see it. Press every button, move both sticks in circles, then let go and leave it for a few seconds to check for drift.

- Connect your controller by USB, or pair it by Bluetooth in your system settings.
- Open the controller tester and press any button.
- Press every button; triggers show how far they are pressed.
- Move both sticks in full circles, and press each stick in.
- Let go of everything and watch the drift readings.

Nothing appears
For privacy, browsers only show a controller after you press a button on it. Press a button again. If it still doesn’t appear, check your computer recognises it.
What do the drift numbers mean?
Under 0.05 is no drift; 0.05 to 0.15 is slight and usually hidden by games; over 0.15 is likely to show up in games.
